The Pulpit Forum is an association of Pastors and other clergy in Greensboro and Vicinity historically made up of black clergy, yet open to all clergy regardless of race, ethnic origin,

and faith tradition. As an association of clergy, we embrace the full range of church activities that are consistent with the servant ministry of Jesus which speaks truth to power, liberates all people, and advances the realm and reign of God. The emphases of the Pulpit Forum will be the following:

• To be the moral and spiritual conscience of the community.

• To provide prophetic leadership which engages and seeks redemptive transformation of the powers and principalities (individuals, institutions, and systems).

• To continue to be empowered and developed for these purposes through active civic involvement, authentic worship, meaningful/playful fellowship, and spiritual nurture
